The team at Arch & Mane approached etch to assist them in transforming an empty shop unit into a relaxed and welcoming Hair and Beauty Salon.
The brief for the project was clear, create something that reflects the style and enthusiasm of the the Arch & Mane team, which is unique in Aberdeen. Clear and open communication between all enabled us to really focus on an agreed aesthetic and palette of materials for the Salon that we all loved.
In practical terms the Salon provides a whole host of treatments and this proved a challenge to fit everything into the unit, whilst also ensuring that there was still a comfortable flow to the space. This was achieved through careful planning and placement of fixed elements, dividing the salon into clear ‘zones’.
As part of the service Advertising Consent, Building Warrant and Shop Fit Out drawings were also provided alongside the Interior designs.
The designs included a number of bespoke pieces designed by etch to be included in the Salon such as; the reception desk, nail bar, salon stations and backlit mirror units.
